A Message from the Superintendent, Dr. Rossi
A Message from the Superintendent, Dr. Rossi
Administration has been made aware of rumors regarding school safety and security, specifically that there was a gun present at a school today, Thursday, February 8, 2024.
At NO TIME was there any credible threats nor was there any weapon or gun at school today, or any other day.
Earlier in the week, the Administration addressed an issue and found that it was an unsubstantiated rumor . A report was received by the Administration on Monday, February 5, 2024 and it was immediately investigated and deemed not credible.
At NO TIME were there any threats to any one in the building or to the school itself. It appears now, two days later, this same exact unsubstantiated claim resurfaced causing understandable alarm.
To repeat, at NO TIME was there any conceivable threat and there was NO gun or weapon in the school today or at any time.
We continue to partner with our law enforcement agency and our school safety team to communicate and investigate all information that we receive. Safety and security of staff and students remain the top priority.
Thank you. -
