About the Assistant Principal |
My name is Melinda Galasso and I am the Assistant Principal and Child Study Team Chairperson at Deerfield Township Elementary School. The 2011-12 school year starts my 18th year in education. I received my undergraduate degree in New Jersey from Glassboro State College, now known as Rowan University and my masters degree in Delaware from Wilmington University. Prior to becoming an administrator, I had the great pleasure working as an Instructional Teacher's Coach and Special Education Teacher in the Salem City School District, located in Salem, New Jersey. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, son and other family members. I also enjoy spending time at the beach, riding horses and most outdoor activities.
