Our Mission
The mission of the Deerfield Township School Media Center is to ensure that all students and staff become efficient, effective users of information and ideas.
We strive to help library users achieve information literacy, which the American Library Association defines as:
"The ability to find, evaluate, and disseminate information using traditional, currently available, and evolving technologies of the purposes of investigation, education, and the solving of real world problems."

Computer Use
Computers are available for Internet and CD-ROM information gathering purposes as well as for using word processing and multi-media presentation programs.
All students must have a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) on file before they will be allowed to sign on to the Internet.
