Gifted Art Program

Gifted art will start the first week of October and continue until the first week of February.  Since I am part time, I only have room in my schedule the first half of the year for Gifted Art.  Mr. Welcz and I switch schedules in February.  Any student interested in being considered for the 2009 – 2010 Gifted Art Program please read the information below and let Mrs. Schwab know before the end of the present school year.

• A self-portrait completed in pencil
• A still life completed in charcoal
• A landscape completed in watercolors
• A portrait of an animal completed in pastels
• An abstract work completed in any medium
• Five (5) works of your choice completed in a variety of mediums.

Students will be given the paper and mediums that they will need to complete the portfolio.  The portfolio is due at the end of September.

You must return the materials and a finished portfolio to be considered for Gifted Art.

Please remember that presentation is very important and will count towards your acceptance to the program. Attach this form to your portfolio when you return it in September. (click here to download and print form)
